Missing Patron Status
We have reissued the missing 30 days of bonus Patron Time to all Patron and Founder accounts that made purchases before September 21 as previously announced.
As for reoccurring subscriptions, if our system charged you incorrectly, we'll definitely reverse the charge. Our Support Team has been alerted to this issue and are eager to make this right.

The Platform Team has applied a series of fixes that have restored Patron Status and Patron Time to accounts that should have it. Less than 1% of players are still affected by missing Patron Time due to payment method errors that aren't being correctly communicated when the Patron Time is purchased. These communications are being sent to the account's email address. After Thursday, October 9, these errors will be communicated by the website store itself. Players who are missing Patron Time they attempted to purchase should check their account to confirm whether the purchase was successful. Failed purchases may be caused by incorrect payment method information or insufficient funds. For further assistance, please contact our Support Team for assistance:
False-Positive Anti-Botting Bans
Over the past week, we've applied a series of aggressive mass bans targeted at botting and spamming behaviors detected via monitoring software. One of these bans was overzealous, affecting a small percentage of false-positive accounts. Our Game Masters have been rapidly reversing bans issued against these legitimate accounts. This is a manual, time-intensive process so it's taken longer than we would have liked to undo the false-positive bans.
The good news is that almost all of the legitimate accounts are now unbanned with the full list to be completed in the next day. These accounts may find they're unbanned before hearing from a Game Master about it. We sincerely appreciate everyone's patience as we work to remove bad actors from ArcheAge.
Seal-Point Sabrefang Battle Pet Not Growing
The [Seal-Point Sabrefang] battle pet is refusing to grow up and become an adult sabrefang. XLGAMES is teaching it that all little battle pets need to grow up some day. Be sure to hold onto your [Seal-Point Sabrefang], it's being fixed!
Trade Packs Gold Rewards Taking Longer than 22 Hours
Some players are reporting that gold rewards from trade packs are taking longer than 22 hours to arrive, possibly caused by server restarts resetting the timer. We've communicated this issue to XLGAMES.
Exploitable Item Mechanics
A certain quest item is allowing for large numbers of NPCs to spawn in non-combat areas. A fix is being deployed to address this on Thursday, October 9.
A certain in-game item can be misused to control another character's movement without mutual confirmation. This item was fixed during Beta but appears to have broken again. A confirmation prompt is being added to this interaction.
404 Errors When Attempting to Purchase from Website
We've recently seen a number of reports about players getting 404 errors when attempting to add a payment method on our website. A platform fix is being deployed on Thursday, October 9 to address this issue.
Interface Customizations Not Persisting
Some game settings, keybinds, and interface customizations are not persisting between game loads in this build. This can be very inconvenient for players with heavily customized layouts. XLGAMES is aware of the issue and will address it.
Intermittent Latency Spikes
We've tracked down a potential cause of the latency spikes players have been experiencing. Each server has had its NIC (network card) replaced with improved hardware as of October 8. We'll continue to monitor the data for additional causes.
Weak Chat and Name Profanity/Spam Filter
The team is aware that the game's current, temporary chat filter isn't very strong. We're working with XLGAMES to add RIFT's robust, learning filter in the coming weeks. For more on this, please read CEO Scott Hartsman's third launch update letter.
Gender-Specific Gear Can't be Transmuted
Costume items recently added to the Marketplace cannot be transmuted onto armor due to the fact that some costume items are gender-specific. While this won't be fixed for these costumes as their tooltips accurately do not show them as transmutable, XLGAMES is aware of the issue and will be focusing on costume items with both male and female designs moving forward. Loyalty Points Can't Be Spent Without Credits
Accounts are currently unable to spend Loyalty Points if they don't have a balance of Credits on their account. This is not intended and is being treated as a priority fix.
A related bug, attempting to purchase a cart containing items that cost Credits and items that cost Loyalty Tokens will fail. Cart purchases are working when the items in it are of the same currency type.
Incorrect Housing Description Labels
Some of the housing descriptions have been incorrectly labeled: the Pumpkin Scarecrow region in north Mahadevi is shown as a Thatched Farmhouse region on the map and the Thatched Farmhouse region in Solis Headlands is shown as a Pumpkin Scarecrow region on the map. These labels will be corrected.
New Queue Visualization Doesn't Show Patron/General
The new queue visualization on the server selection page was a necessity as part of introducing the grace queue. Unfortunately, it does not show Patron versus general queues but Patron queuing is granting the priority access it should to Patrons.
